Just returned from a two night stay. Everything was perfect, no issues. The room was clean, comfy and warm. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Should I return to Ayr it's the only place I would stay.

Nice and friendly BB right by the sea front and ideally located for central Ayrshire-(4 of us spent the last week of Sept 2011 playing golf staying here)

Stayed here for a week doing the "Build Your Own" course at Bailey Guitars.
Enjoyed every minute of my stay at Bythesea. Nice room, good bed and a wonderful breakfast. Would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a B&B in the Ayr area.

Stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding in the area. Room was immaculate and well stocked. An excellent breakfast which set you up for the day. Owner and staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Would be my number one choice if I had to stay in Ayr again.

Stayed here with other family whilst attending a family wedding,room was lovely-higher standard than some hotels i have stayed in !Fantastic breakfast-set you up for the day,really friendly service too.
